DESCRIPTION:Park Up and Play is our NEW outdoor play group for parents and children. Come and meet other local families who are learning to live and thrive with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. We gather every week in a park around Sheffield and the surrounding area\, to chat\, catch up\, share stories and advice and get a breath of fresh air together. \nThis week\, we’ve got a special trip planned to the Abbeydale Miniature Railway. This is a classic Sheffield event – don’t miss the chance to go if you haven’t been before! Tickets for the train rides are £1.50 on the day. Have a look at their website for more information. \nWe’re a friendly bunch and love to welcome new faces. We’ll go to a different park each week\, depending on the requests of the group. This might be the group for you if you struggle to get to North Sheffield for our other events\, because the location will vary. SUMMARY:Barnsley Inclusive Playgroup
DESCRIPTION:Stay and Play is our weekly inclusive playgroup for our young members and their parents or carers. Our Barnsley branch is brand new for 2022! We’re excited to bring our services closer to families in this area of South Yorkshire. \nWe have a welcoming space for kids to have lots of fun\, meaning that parents can meet and chat with each other. Entry is free and a hot drink is provided. Siblings are welcome to join us too. \nOur friendly team set up and run plenty of activities\, including books\, sensory fun\, toys and music. The children have a great time and it’s a great opportunity to connect with other parents/carers who are in a similar situation. We meet every week\, so you can really build lasting relationships. Our team members also have personal experience of children with additional needs\, making it a unique and helpful local group. \nOur venues are  excellent and easily accessible. We alternate between two family centres\, so make sure to check the location for each week. We hope to see you at our NEW Barnsley inclusive playgroup!
