SUMMARY:NWY ASBAH Conference
DESCRIPTION:SHASBAH members and friends are invited to a special conference\, organised by our friends at North & West Yorkshire ASBAH. \nThe day will be a great opportunity to meet people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus from across Yorkshire. There will also be helpful workshops on the topics of: \n\nPIP and DLA forms\nEducation support\nContinence care\nPressure ulcer prevention and care\n\nLunch\, coffee and activities for kids will also be provided. It will be a great\, social day out as well as a chance to get practical support in navigating the world of spina bifida and hydrocephalus. \nThe conference is on Sunday 16th October from 10-4pm at Hollins Hall Hotel\, Shipley\, BD17 7QW. SUMMARY:First Aid for Children Training Course
DESCRIPTION:SHASBAH is hosting a FREE paediatric first aid course in Sheffield for our members and staff. This will be an intensive and very informative two-day course\, specialising in young children and babies. The training will be led by an instructor from Ecclesall First Aid Training\, a fully accredited centre. Everyone who participates will gain a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. Full course details can be found here. \nThe course is two days long\, running from 9-5 each day including a lunch break. We’ll also provide a creche for any young children. The venue is Bethany School in Sheffield. Make the most of this opportunity to build your confidence and skills in children’s first aid.
