SUMMARY:Trip to The Deep in Hull
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a half term trip to The Deep Aquarium in Hull! Our trip is open to all SHASBAH members and their families/carers. It’s a great chance to meet up with other members\, and families with young children can enjoy an exciting half term outing for free. \nBook your place: Booking for this trip is essential as we have limited spaces. We’ll host a further ‘overspill’ trip to The Deep in the coming weeks for those who could not join us this time! Book your places here. \nWe recommend to everyone that they bring a packed lunch for the day so you can get on with enjoying the aquarium. \nTravel: You will need to ensure you have your travel arranged for the trip. SUMMARY:Park Up and Play at Gully Town Tots
DESCRIPTION:Park Up and Play is our parent/carer and toddler group for families living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. Come along and meet other local families who are learning to live and thrive with the conditions. The whole family is welcome – siblings and grandparents included! We’re a friendly bunch and love to welcome new faces. We meet every week in term-time\, in locations suggested by our members. \nOur next trip will be to Gully Town Tots on Thursday 16th April from 9:30am – 11:30pm. Gully Town Tots is a fun indoor play session specially designed for under 5’s in the soft play at Gulliver’s Valley near Rother Valley. \n\nWe always advise you bring a picnic lunch to keep the tots going!\n\n\nBook your place: If you would like to join us\, please fill in this booking form so we know numbers and whether you need any additional support. SUMMARY:Ethel Community Barge Trip
DESCRIPTION:As part of our membership activities\, we have accessible canal boat trips with the wonderful Ethel and Pearl barges\, belonging to the Ethel Trust Community Barges. There is no cost for our members and their loved ones to book on\, and family members and support workers are more than welcome to join in! \nThis Friday 15th May is your chance to go on the Ethel Barge. It’s a wonderfully unique way to see South Yorkshire\, and you can also enjoy meeting other members. \nOur day out will start at Victoria Quays in Sheffield\, then we’ll head on an adventure through the beautiful canals of South Yorkshire. A picnic lunch and refreshments will be provided. Trained volunteers skipper the Pearl Barge\, who have experience working with a diverse range of needs. There are lifts at the front and rear for accessing the canal boat\, as well as accessible toilets on board. \nThere is a limit of 12 guests on the boat\, so book your place today!
