We gather every week in a park around Sheffield and the surrounding area\, to chat\, catch up\, share stories and advice and get a breath of fresh air together. \nWe’re a friendly bunch and love to welcome new faces. We’ll go to a different park each week\, depending on the requests of the group. This might be the group for you if you struggle to get to North Sheffield for our other events\, because the location will vary. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and sociable afternoon! Our weekly Sheffield adults group is an opportunity to get out of the house and meet other SHASBAH members. Entry is free and refreshments are provided! \nOur team provide everything you need for a fun afternoon. There are optional activities such as card games\, origami and Hama beads. Plus\, we’re always open to suggestions and trying new things. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other people who have Spina bifida or Hydrocephalus. We meet every week\, so you can really build lasting relationships. We’re a friendly bunch\, so don’t be shy! \nOur venue\, Longley Four Greens Community Centre\, is excellent and easily accessible\, located in Longley\, North Sheffield. If you need help with transport\, just get in touch and we’d be happy to help. We hope to see you there!

We have a welcoming space for kids to have lots of fun\, meaning that parents can meet and chat with each other. Entry is free and a hot drink is provided! Siblings are welcome to join us too. \nOur friendly team set up and run plenty of activities\, including books\, sensory fun\, toys and music. The children have a great time and it’s a great opportunity to connect with other parents/carers who are in a similar situation. We meet every week\, so you can really build lasting relationships. Our team members also have personal experience of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus\, making it a unique and helpful local group. \nOur venue\, Longley Four Greens Community Centre\, is excellent and easily accessible\, located in Longley\, North Sheffield. We hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Christmas Wreath Making
DESCRIPTION:SHASBAH and Orchis Floral Design are putting on an evening of wreath-making in Sheffield for parent/carers. Come and do a Christmas activity for grown ups – it’s not all about the kids! We’re going to have a fun and cosy night in. Everything you might need is provided and Emma will lead the session\, so everyone will go home with a wreath to be proud of. You can’t go wrong under Emma’s expert tuition! \nLast year\, we sent out wreath-making kits to parent/carers\, provided by Orchis Floral Design. They were very popular and had brilliant feedback\, so we know it’s going to be a great evening. We’re excited to be face-to-face in each other’s company this time around. \nOur venue is Hagglers Corner\, an up-and-coming Sheffield art space. The best part is\, the session is completely FREE. We don’t want any barriers to our parent/carers having a well-deserved night to enjoy themselves. All spaces have been filled by parent/carers from our charity membership. Look out for the results on social media. \n
