DESCRIPTION:Park Up and Play is our play group for parents and children. Come along and meet other local families who are learning to live and thrive with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. The whole family is welcome – siblings and grandparents included! \nWe meet at 10am every week on either Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Contact Nina (Director of Services) on 07752665411 for more details about this week’s trip\, including the exact meet point. If you like\, we can add you to the WhatsApp group where the trips are organised. \nWe’re a friendly bunch and love to welcome new faces. We meet every week in term-time\, in locations suggested by members of the group. This might be the group for you if you struggle to get to North Sheffield for our other events\, since the location is flexible.

SUMMARY:Chat Away at The Armouries
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and sociable day trip to the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Tuesday 9th July. Come along and make some memories with SHASBAH. Contact Nina on 07752665411 or info@shasbah.co.uk if you’d like to join us. We’ll get the train from Sheffield at around 10am\, travelling back at around 3pm. \nCome to Chat Away to meet up with friendly folk who also have Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus. It’s a great chance to practise your independence in a safe environment. This group meets every other week\, so you can really build lasting relationships and try lots of new things. We love to hear suggestions from our members about where to go next.

SUMMARY:Family Day Out at Matlock Farm Park
DESCRIPTION:Come for a Family Day Out with the SHASBAH community. We’re heading to Matlock Farm Park to have some summer fun. We’ll be meeting the animals\, sharing lunch together and playing the day away. Join us on Tuesday 30th July from 10am-4pm. \nThis trip is aimed at SHASBAH kids and their families. Our community events are a great chance to spend time with other families who understand life with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. We’d love to see both new and familiar faces. \nWe’re providing lunch on the day\, so please book your place so that we can cater for everyone. Our venues are always accessible\, but if you have any questions or concerns\, please send them our way. \nThis whole event is FREE to our community\, thanks to funding from Cash For Kids.
