In DATE, SHASBaH received a grant from Awards4All and The National Lottery to help kickstart our pioneering Befriending service. This service will be operated by trained volunteers and will run alongside our social events to help increase the independence of our members.
We want to give our adult members the confidence to network and forge meaningful connections with others.
We want our teenage members to know that they still make deep and lasting friendships with their peers who truly understand what they are going through.
We want the parents of children born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in the Sheffield City Region to know that they are not along.
We have the means to support and encourage each other. We will do everything possible to combat social isolation.
I think this page will be key in attracting new families etc. due to spreading SHASBAH’s great presence on socials
Links to all social media accounts – potentially have a plug-in for twitter / facebook so that visitors can see some examples of the types of post SHASBAH use (find example of a website doing this)
