Keep Moving During Lockdown

We know that it can be hard to stay active, especially during a pandemic. Many of us may have tried Joe Wicks, but is there anything out there which is inclusive and accessible? Yes there is! To help you out, we’ve collected some of our favourite resources for accessible exercise in a handy list.

1. Wheelpower

Wheelpower have been making and uploading lots of workout videos aimed at wheelchair users. We think their cardio series look particularly… challenging! You can also join in with their weekly online exercise classes.

2. Yoga 4 All

We keep mentioning this because it’s such a good opportunity! Genuinely suitable for any fitness level, easy on the joints – push yourself AND relax with Yoga 4 All. Zoom class on Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm. Find out more.

3. Sense Sport

Sense collect together all sorts of activities and games to try out and send them round in a weekly email. You can subscribe here.

Beth is our Communications Coordinator. She started working for SHASBAH in September 2020. Beth writes blog posts and newsletters, updates social media, sends out birthday cards and more.
