SUMMARY:South Yorkshire Canal Boat Trip
DESCRIPTION:As part of our membership activities\, we have accessible canal boat trips with the wonderful Ethel and Pearl barges\, belonging to the Ethel Trust Community Barges. There is no cost for our members and their loved ones to book on\, and family members and support workers are more than welcome to join in! \nThis Saturday 19th July is your chance to go on the Pearl Barge. It’s a wonderfully unique way to see South Yorkshire\, and you can also enjoy meeting other members. (Please note\, this trip is to reschedule the cancelled event on 14th May).  \nOur day out will start at Stanilands Marina in Doncaster\, then we’ll head on an adventure through the beautiful canals of South Yorkshire. Bring a packed lunch with you. Refreshments will be provided. Trained volunteers skipper the Pearl Barge\, who have experience working with a diverse range of needs. There are lifts at the front and rear for accessing the canal boat\, as well as accessible toilets on board. \nThere is a limit of 12 guests on the boat\, so it’s first come\, first served.
