3 Things To Do in Sheffield in Half Term
The Queen’s Jubilee makes this half term a special one, with not one, but two bank holidays! The whole country will be out and about, having fun and celebrating together. To make sure you get in on the action, here are three of our recommendations for things to do next week.
Shop at Sheffield Craft & Flea
Craft & Flea is an annual market, full of talented local makers. Come and browse handmade jewellery, art, home decor, clothes and more. Whether you’re wanting to treat yourself, or just look for inspiration, be sure not to miss this!
Sheffield Craft & Flea is taking place at Sheffield Cathedral on Saturday 28th May, 11-5pm. Entry is £2.50 per person.

Do the Jubilee Trail at Manor Lodge

Manor Lodge are putting on their own Jubilee celebration for kids. Follow the trail to help the Queen’s corgis, then get stuck in with some Jubilee crafts. The Rhubarb Shed cafe will be open as usual, but you can also bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
The Jubilee trail is happening Saturday 28th May – Wednesday 1st June. Book your slot on their website. Craft and trail costs £4 per child.
Try something new at Sheffield Food Festival
The bank holiday weekend brings Sheffield Food Festival to town! The festival is a showcase of the many different cultures, cuisines and talents that belong to our city. Stretching across the city centre, the Market section will be full of home-grown produce. The Street Food section will have all sorts of dishes to try from local vendors. The Eats, Treats and Beats section in the Peace Gardens will have a Demo stage, a music stage and will be served by local breweries.
2nd-5th June, from 10-6pm each day.

Isn’t our city fantastic? Let us know what you get up to and any recommendations you might have. How are you celebrating the bank holiday weekend?
