Exciting times ahoy! This summer, don’t miss your chance to go on an accessible canal boat trip with SHASBAH and Ethel Barge. We’ve booked a bunch of dates for groups of SHASBAH members to get out on the water. It’s such a fun and unique way to see South Yorkshire, as well as a great way to get together with other people.

Your day out will start at Stanilands Marina, Thorne, Doncaster DN8 5EP, then we’ll head on an adventure through the beautiful canals of South Yorkshire. There are a pub and a fish and chip shop at the halfway point for any hungry sailors. Fully trained volunteers skipper the Ethel Barge, who have experience of a diverse range of needs. There are lifts at the front and rear for accessing the canal boat, as well as accessible toilets on board.
